Every one of our customers can call on our support in many different areas. Members of our Technical Support team are in the field every day helping customers enhance the performance of their corrugators and solve technical problems as they arise.

Our Technical Support Team, headed up by Geraint Jenkins, is the envy of the papermaking industry. This team is capable of engaging with the most difficult technical problems at a moment’s notice. The team consists of Geraint Jenkins, Barry Newberry and Kate Gray.

But ‘firefighting’ is only part of this team’s value to customers. What truly makes a difference is its ability to help customers enhance the performance of their corrugators. This entails combining engineering knowledge with a deep understanding of how our papers behave on the machines. At a time when all companies are keen to save costs and improve productivity, this service can help ensure commercial success and profitability.

Reelstock

The Reelstock system is a Windows-based stock control system for reels. It works by reading barcodes on the reel labels, which contain a complete description of the reel of paper. This means the system can be used to streamline reception of the reels at the customer’s premises, to control the stock in the warehouse and to manage issues/despatches.

The system requires a PC and printer, one-or-more Symbol hand-held terminals and a docking station. The application comes completely free of charge from St Regis. We provide customers with the standard software, for both the PC and hand-held. We will also install and test the software on your site, train a master operator and then assist in the training of more operators.

We can also provide a briefing to site managers on how the system works and how it can improve operational efficiency.
