Recent Investments: Wansbrough

There has been continuous investment at Wansbrough Mill, one of the major aims of which was to allow the plant to back up Kemsley in the production of plasterboard liner. For example, in 2005, a £5m investment enabled the installation of a new hydraulic dilution controlled headbox and wire shake unit on PM5 machine. There were also modifications to the stock preparation plant and stock approach flow as well as new process control systems and the installation of ASA sizing.
